Letter from FRC & RMVP
Dear Potential New Members,
With the temperature skyrocketing, humidity taking our hair to new extremes, and the faint ringing of cowbells echoing from Davis Wade, it’s almost that time of year again. Formal Recruitment is fast approaching and the ladies of Alpha Delta Pi could not be more excited.
Moving to a new town is difficult and scary, whether you live ten miles away or five hundred, the process is extremely nerve racking. I live almost three hundred miles away, packing up my bags and moving to a new town where I knew no one was one of the most terrifying things I’ve had to do. However, the moment that I walked through the blue doors of Alpha Delta Pi I knew instantly that this sisterhood was something that I wanted to be a part of. Their bright smiling faces, kind hearts, and the welcoming atmosphere in the house instantly drew me in. Now, going on three years later, I could not imagine my college experience without them. Alpha Delta Pi truly has become my home away from home, giving me friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
During Recruitment we try to give you an insight as to what being an Alpha Delta Pi is really like. We strive to achieve the highest ideals of service, scholarship, sisterhood, and self. We believe that you should actively help others, have a strong academic drive, create strong and lasting bonds with your sisters, all while never forgetting to love yourself. I hope that when you walk through the front doors you feel just as at home as I did! Recruitment is a fun and rewarding experience, and on behalf of the ladies in Alpha Delta Pi, I can say, that we truly cannot wait to see you soon! As we wait for recruitment to begin, please check out this YouTube video to see what our sisterhood is all about!
